I'm not sure if the stretch of passable mountains at the bottom of the impassable mountains is intentional, but it is very odd (since the ranges are connected). The goblin player might use it but they probably have a better chance of rushing for the undead dwelling to get their foot in the door. The alternate route through the poison plants and dirt walls, though a very nice touch, does not seem worthwhile due to how lethal the poisoning is to the elven player.I think that the goblin and the elf need to be slightly more separated than they currently are. I did like that this slowed the game down a bit so that it wasn't just a rush once I had to go underground. This is very problematic for the elven player, probably less so for the goblin player. You have to enter on the outside of the first mountains weave through the Undead domain and then up to the surface either in the first ring or the throne city. The underground pathways to breach the first perimeter of mountains seem too long.I would think that some passes through the mountains might fix this issue. The dwarven player has an very nice starting position since there is basically only one way to access their throne city.Makes it less accessible to the elven player. I think that the goblin throne should be the underground city instead of the one on the surface. This prevents the elves from being more mobile than the goblins in their own territory. The goblin's above ground territory should have more wetlands and less vegetation.I eliminated the goblin player on turn 28 and the dwarven player on turn 48. So I just finished a single player game as an elven sorcerer against a goblin dreadnought and a dwarven rogue.
